Haripriya to replace sneha in Kochadaiyaan

Haripriya has been looking to make her debut in Mollywood for a long time. The Kallara Santhe heroine has finally done it, thanks to Sneha opting out of Thiruvambadi Thampan after she landed the role of Superstar Rajinikanth's sister in Kochadaiyaan.


"Yes, I've replaced Sneha in this film, which has Jayaram as the hero," confirms Haripriya. The actor has been shooting in the interiors of Kerala since last week. "It has been a great experience because I've actually shot with tuskers, as Jayaram plays a doctor for elephants in this film. There was a scene in which I was required to be around nearly 70 elephants. It has been a wonderful experience to shoot around those animals," says Haripriya adding, "I finally get to debut in Malayalam. I was supposed to have been part of a couple of films earlier, but had to opt out because of date issues."

Sneha to act in Kochadaiyaan

Sneha has landed a coveted role in Rajini's new film, Kochadaiyaan. The actress will be playing Rajini's sister in the film. She is very happy to be a part of this project, Sneha said as it has long been a dream of hers to star in a Rajini film.


The film is to be directed by Soundarya Ashwin and will probably have AR Rahman as the music director. Anushka is being considered for the role. A few reports have surfaced suggesting that a Bollywood heroine may also be roped in.

Peter Hein has signed up for Kochadaiyaan

Soundarya Rajinikanth has announced that stunt master Peter Hein has been signed up for Kochadaiyaan. She has said that Peter Hein is working with Rajini for the third time with the first two films being Sivaji and Endhiran.


This is the first time Peter Hein will be working in a 3D film and he is toiling hard to give the best effects in the fight sequences.


Soundarya has said that she will make announcements regarding the rest of the cast and crew once they are finalized. Keep watching this space for more updates

Anushak to do lead role in Kochadaiyaan

Anushka is as busy in Tamil as she is in Telugu. Now there is a strong whiff from well-placed sources in the industry that she might get to play the lead lady's character in Superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming 3D film 'Kochadaiyaan'!


The technical traits of 'Kochadaiyaan' involves state-of-the -art motion capture techniques similar to those involved in the latest Hollywood 3D animation film 'Adventures of Tintin.' Anushka, if she signs on the dotted line, will be doing her part in the film from a sophisticated studio which is equipped with cameras that capture her body language, which will be later transferred to animation.


This project, which is jointly directed by KS Ravikumar and Rajinikanth's daughter Soundarya, are believed to have had a discussion with the actress regarding the same. Though there are no confirmed reports from those involved in this project, the team might soon come out with an official confirmation says some sources in the film industry.


Anushka is having her kitty full with 'Thaandavam' which will see her sharing screen space with Vikram under Vijay's direction. Anushka is currently doing a film with Karthi. This so-far-unnamed film is directed by 'Mappillai' fame Suraj.
